Driver
I drive the "Zoom" bus which is a turnpike express route from Biddeford-Saco to
downtown Portland. It is used mostly by passengers who work in Portland. I also do a
Portland run on Sundays which takes passengers to and from Portland from
Scarborough, OOB, Saco and Biddeford.

Mini-bus driver
I drove a mini-bus transporting residents to and from medical appointments. It was
only 20 hrs. per week and I needed full-time.
Hancock Lumber Co., Kennebunk, ME April 2003 - February 2005
Driver/Asst. shipper/warehouse
I operated a flatbed and a tri-axle tractor trailer, with a Moffett, delivering
building supplies to customers and jobsites. I also worked as an assistant shipper
and I worked in the warehouse building loads and working directly with drive in
customers.

Tractor-trailer driver
I drove tractor trailer making deliveries and pickups for our customers. I did local
runs which is what I wanted. I was changed to start doing long haul and I did not
want to drive long haul. I had enough of that when I operated my own truck in 1985.

Driver/maint./childcare
I work for the YMCA if and when they need me. I have worked the front desk, driven
children to and from the program and on field trips and I have done building
maintenance. If they need something and I am available, I work for them.
Wells Police Department, Wells, ME April 1988 - September 1997
Patrolman/Detective
I was a police officer for the Town of Wells. I also served two different times in
the detective bureau. I served as the Court Officer and the Hate Crimes Investigator
for a time, as well.
Northeast Airmotive, Portland, ME May 1999 - November 1999
Customer Service Rep.
This is a busy fixed base operation located at the Portland Jetport. We dealt mostly
with corporate aircraft and customers. I worked the front desk taking payments for
different services we offered. I also made arrangements for hotels, rental cars, and
catering for the aircraft. I answered phones and answered the radio when passenger
aircraft called in ordering fuel. It was a great, fast paced position. The wages
were low and there was no real chance for any type of advancement.
Westbrook Police Department, Westbrook, ME August 1984 - September 1986
Patrolman
I was a uniformed patrol officer for the City of Westbrook. Back then, the
department was going through a great many problems. Morale was low, there were a
great many budget cuts and it was not a very good place to work.
Portland Police Department, Portland, ME September 1971 - June 1982
Patrolman/Sergeant/Lieut.
I joined Portland in 1971 and I walked a footbeat for almost a year. I then moved
into a patrol car and worked many areas within the City. I was an Evidence
Technician and I was also promoted to the rank of Sergeant. I was made Acting
Lieutenant for over 2 years. In that time, I was a Shift Commander and an Internal
Affairs Investigator. Prior to being promoted to Sergeant, I work a plainclothes
assignment for over a year.

I graduated from South Portland High School in June of 1968. I had taken general
college prep courses and received my diploma with a B+ average.

I attended SMCC, it was SMVTI when I went, enrolled in the Criminal Justice Program.
I have also taken Business courses and have 63 credits towards my Associates Degree.
I hope to finish by June/2006.
Sierra Academy of Aeronautics, Oakland, CA
Other - Aircraft Dispatching/Flight, November 1997
I am a licensed commercial pilot and I attended Sierra to earn my aircraft
dispatching license. At the end of the 6 week course, I took my exam, with an FAA
examiner, and earned my license.
